Welcome to AURA ("Application" or "AURA"). This Privacy Policy describes how the AURA team ("Developer", "we", "us", or "our") collects, processes, protects, and handles your personal information when you use our mobile application and related services. This document aims to establish clear, legally binding terms that protect both the Developer and our users.

✦ Image Processing, Photos, and Camera Policy: AURA utilizes your device camera and photo library access solely to perform seasonal color analysis. With your explicit consent, uploaded photos are transmitted securely to a third-party AI provider (OpenAI API) for temporary color analysis. Photos are immediately processed and are not stored, saved, or shared on our servers or by the third-party provider, and are not used for training AI models. Furthermore, our image analysis does not collect biometric data, facial signatures, or face geometry for personal identification purposes.

1. Types of Data We Collect and Why

To provide and maintain our services, we collect the following minimal categories of data:

User Account Information: If you sign up using Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In, we collect the unique user ID (UID), full name, and email address shared by these providers. This data is stored in our database in an encrypted format to create, authenticate, and manage your AURA account.
Color Analysis History: To ensure the persistence of your experience, your saved seasonal color palettes, custom color swatches, and wardrobe counts are stored in our secure database linked to your account.
Device and Usage Information: Technical data such as your device model, operating system version, device language, push notification tokens, and crash logs are collected anonymously to analyze application performance, fix bugs, and optimize stability.

2. AI Analysis and Limitation of Liability (Disclaimer)

⚠ Important Limitation of Liability: All artificial intelligence-based color analyses, seasonal classifications, and wardrobe styling suggestions provided within AURA are for aesthetic, educational, and entertainment purposes only. The accuracy of the analysis is heavily dependent on factors beyond our control, including lighting conditions, camera quality, and photo angles. The Developer does not guarantee or warrant the accuracy, suitability, or absolute precision of the color recommendations. The Developer shall not be liable or responsible for any decisions made by the user based on the analysis (including, but not limited to, purchases of clothing, hair dye, makeup, or jewelry) or for any financial losses or dissatisfaction arising from such decisions.

3. Third-Party Integrations and Data Transfers

AURA integrates trusted third-party service providers to power its database, AI analysis, and payment operations. These providers govern your data under their respective privacy policies, and the Developer is not responsible for their independent data processing practices:

Supabase (Authentication and Database): Your account credentials, profile details, and saved color histories are stored securely on encrypted database clusters hosted by Supabase.
OpenAI (AI Analysis): With user consent, user photos are transmitted securely to OpenAI API to perform color analysis. Photo data is processed transiently and is not stored or used for model training.
Apple App Store / Google Play Store (Billing & Payments): All premium in-app purchases and subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple and Google. Your financial details (including credit cards, bank account numbers, or billing info) are never processed, seen, or stored by the Developer.

4. User Rights and Data Deletion

You have full control over your personal data. You can request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated data at any time:

By using the "Delete Account" option within the Settings menu of the Application, which immediately and permanently purges your profile, email, and color history from our Supabase database.

5. Data Security

We implement TLS/SSL encryption and industry-standard security safeguards to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no digital transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. You acknowledge that the Developer is not liable for indirect or consequential damages resulting from security breaches or database service failures beyond our reasonable control.

6. Children's Privacy

AURA is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it from our systems immediately. 7. Updates to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect updates in legislation or app capabilities. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the policy page or via in-app notifications. Continued use of AURA after updates constitute acceptance of the modified terms.
